I saw this a thread like this at TPR and I thought C101 needed one. Just post the strangest/funniest thing you have heard the general public (Non Coaster Enthusiast/Geeks/Nerds people) say at a park about the park or some ride.
My favorite would have to be when I was riding the Frontier Land Express or whatever it's called and the recording about Splash Mountain came on the speakers and after it said "50 foot plunge" some kid said "Did ya hear that Mama? A 50 foot big ride! That's the biggest in the world!" I was laughing so hard in my head. This kid must have been about my age. So...post away!

"Oh my gosh, Steph, there was like this coaster, and it was like, 1000 mph fast, and like, like, 5,000 feet tall, it was in like like Six Flags...."
One of my coaster nerdish peeves is when people from Memphis talk about Sfstl is the only themepark in existance, that's the only park most people have been two.
"I like rollercoasters that just go up and then drop" (drop towers)
^That one was yesterday.

^Have you ever been to SFStL? Jw.
I cant really think of something right off the top of my head but there are many things that the GP has said that was just one of those "WTF" type things. I also hate when parks try to make their ride sound like it's the best. For instance, the recording that plays in Patriot's station at WOF says "...the LONGEST and TALLEST inverted roller coaster in the region." That is just kind of annoying to me.

This one is just funny. This little boy was riding Ninja at SFoG and the whole time he was screaming, "Mommy! Mommy! Is it over? Is it over?!?" Then when we hit the brake run he said, "Oh Lordy Lordy, it's over." I died laughing. It was hilarious to me. This kid loooked only 6 or 7 years old.

^Ummm...That lady sounds really messed up.
This one time, I was in line for Rampage (a wooden coaster)and this kid said, "Does it have a woopty-doo?" to me and I said, "A what?" and he said, "You know, a upside down flip?" (the bad grammar is intentional in order to illustrate the kid's dialog) I replied, "No, it's made out of wood. All loops need to be made out of steel." He said, "Mmmm hmmm...Sure. Whatever." Then he proceeds to roll his eyes.

*In line for Drop Zone at PGA*
"So I was in LA and I went to Magic Mountain. It's in LA so pretty much all the rides have 4+ hour lines, and I went on The Colossus. It's probably the biggest coaster in the park, probably even bigger than this. [Drop Zone]"
