Pretty simple question...intelocking loops or corkscrews? I think on-ride, loops would be better, as they would create a sort of headchopper effect. But off-ride, the corkscrews look much nicer. Here's some pics if you have no idea...

I agree on ride I would rather experience the interlocking loops (although I have not I would like to) but from the ground the corkscrews look a lot better and make for a better photograph.

I've only been on interlocking corkscrews (Kumba) but I'd have to say they both look awesome.

From onride, I think the interlocking loops (speaking of which, is that my Nessie pic or Zack's?) olffer more of a thrill. The corkscrews offer great laterals, of course, but you can't help but feel how close you are to the other loop when you're in an interlocking loop.
I think everything depends when it comes to offride. Interlocking loops look amazing when they're as photogenic as Nessie, and interlocking corkscrews look great when they work with the landscape like Kumba. It's tough to choose...

^ I believe the loops would when if they'd sync it so that the trains would enter the loops at the same time.

^Yeah. Unfortunately Nessie only had 2 trains running the day I was there. When it has 3 running, they do enter and exit the loops at the same time.
OMG! I forgot about Dueling Dragons. That thing makes interlocking corkscrews the greatest things alive. Watching both trains come down and do the wing overs at the same time is amazing.

^ I heard that mechanics have rigged the ride so that the trains can never "interlock" again...

^"Heard?" "Heard" isn't usually that reliable. If we believed everything we "heard," we'd be gettin' decieved 'n' shot out the wazoo.

I'd rather ride the funner coaster, which would mean I would look at the whole layout. Interlocking corkscrews look pretty sweet, but I wouldn't judge the awesomeness of a coaster by looks...

In my opinion, interlocking loops look better, but never experienced one.
Only a interlocking corkscrew...

^^Noone's really judging the entire coaster, just the elements. If I was comparing entire coasters, Medusa (corks) > Nessie (loops). But we're comparing the elements, so Nessie's loops > Medusa's corks.

So...in other words...Do I like corkscrews better, or loops??

What about a corkscrew through a loop? Now that would look cool.
I would have to go with the loops though. Any time a piece of track is though a loop I love it, especially Kumba's lift going though the loop.

Are there any other coasters with interlocking loops?
