A year ago I told you that Hypersonic XLC would be coming down (which was a romur),but now it`s true!!!
Coastercrew has reported that Kings Dominion will take down Hypersonic XLC by a month or so.I`m not lying, look at the Kings Dominion official page and you see that Hypersonic XLC is gone from the ride list.

^ What reason would there be for Dodonpa to come down?

I was hoping it would last a few more years so I could ride it. Oh well. That makes two now that I will have missed by a hair...Chiller (going to GADV in June) and Hypersonic (probably going to KD summer 2009).

^ Well, to tell you the truth, I've been on both, and you're not missing much... except for an amazing launch on XLC and nice inversions on Chiller.

For some reason, I really enjoyed both Premier LIM shuttles I was on (FOF and Speed), and I was looking forward to Chiller. I also wanted to experience an inverted tophat.

I kind of know what you mean... I never got to ride Chiller with the Zero-G Rolls and I never got to ride the Batman side at all!

It's always sad to see a coaster come down...
RIP Hypersonic XLC.

NO! Goddamnit! This is what I look forward to most when I go to KD! The launch is so insane. Ugh. I'm mad.

Then come on over to Missouri and ride Mr. Freeze! Its an amazing ride, and that inverted top-hat is the bet inversion ever! Hypersonic leaving is only sad for one reason: these have to go with it.

^^ I'll have to do that sometime! The only problem is, it's a 9 hour drive, ouch. If I'm ever in STL I'll be sure to swing by SF!

The ride is probably going to be re-located.
The reason the ride is leaving is probably to fit it in Dominator I'm guessing.
EDIT: While looking up Dominator on the King's Dominion site, I found this:
Manufacturer - Bollinger & Mabillard
I never heard of that company...

^Seriously? B&M has made some of the best coasters ever made.
Hypersonic isn't being removed because of Dominator, it is being removed because it is costing more money on fixing it then to run it. In fact, Dominator isn't even taking it's place.
