Update, and something weird...
Update: My dad put the battery in and turned it on, and it loaded up!! However, it didn't recognize the battery and it turned off in a few seconds. I also tried it before that and the same thing happened. But I was wrong, it is NOT dry yet! You can see all the water still in the screen. I might need a new battery also.
Something weird: My dad's phone is broke! It's not getting any reception. He's on the phone right now....What is really weird is that his phone before that broke and lost all reception also! What is ALSO weird is that my brother once got his phone wet...I'm not sure how, I just remember him blow drying it...We have bad luck with phones!

I checked with Verizon wireless with all dead ends to getting you a replacement phone. i had talk to tech at LG and they well clean it out. If you want I read your posting and saw where you had more function happening went you power up. just a quick thought Keep the phone on its side not flat and if there is a opening on one end keep it there so it may drain if possible. Mositure on the boards needs to run off Sorry did'nt get you any good news yet but still trying too. Please keep me posted
Thanks Darrel

Darrel, I can't thank you enough! Thank you so much for trying to help me! It still isn't turning on now. My dad is going to take me down to the Verizon store Saturday to see if we can test out a new bettery. He is still against bringing it to a professonal place though...

Most phones do, but mine doesn't...like 90% of phones survive
