As of right now, it is raining. However, by tonight it is supposed to change over to snow. How much snow? 6-12 inches! This may not seem like a lot to you northerners but thats A LOT here in Missouri. Along with the tons of snow, there will be a nice sheet of ice to go under it so the chances of having school tomorrow are slim. Ill update tomorrow but Im definitely sleeping with my PJs (boxers) on inside-out tonight! Woot for SNOW!
-Justin "This is the most we have gotten in years if they are correct!" Seabaugh
EDIT- Sounds like 1/2-1 inch of black ice under all of that snow, Im so excited!

Well, no matter if there is snow predicted, or anything like that, it NEVER snows here in Alabama. Not at lot at least. I bet out of 50 predictions of lots of snow, 1 has come true. One time, they predicted 8 inches and cancelled school beforehand. There were a few flakes, thats it.
Last good snow here was back in 96. There was a pretty good ice storm, then it snowed about 5 inches and my gosh did that make for some perfect sledding...

-Status Report-
NO SCHOOL!!!
School was cancelled today but not because of the snow (we only have like 1/4 an inch), it's because of the ICE! Anyways, were supposed to start getting snow later today and NBC says that Missouri is gunna get hit hard: 1-2 feet! Our local news programs say 8-14 inches but I want to believe the national news!
Anyways, when we do get our snow later today, tonight, and tomorrow, we probably wont have school again tomorrow so maybe I can get some pics up for you people who never get snow.

Okay, its really starting to come down now and the experts say this is shaping up to be our worst winter storm since 1995. Last year we had a TOTAL of 7 inches the ENTIRE winter and now they are saying we will get 10-14 inces OR MORE of snow in one night! I have some pictures that I took at about 5:00 central standard time and there is about one inch on the ground: My house with Christmas Lights and SNOW! I had the flash on which made a cool effect w/ the snow. Down the street (which is already very slick)! More updates tomorrow.

I HATE YOU!
Tomorrow has a high of 82 degrees.
If my part of Florida got snow, I would punch myself in the nuts.
