When I made my plans to go to Vegas, I made the plans around the four coasters I wanted to ride. Saturday, we pulled into Primm, Nevada, hoping to ride Desperado. It would have been the first time I would ride a coaster with a first drop of over 200 feet. Sadly, they just closed the ride due to high winds. We left for our hotel in Vegas. The next day, we went to the New York, New York Hotel, for the sole purpose of riding Manhattan Express. I waited in line for about 15 minutes to get on the train, and let me tell you, the wait was worth it. I was worried about the shoulder harnesses because a friend of mine said that they were seperated, but the harnesses worked fine, and I had fun. A couple of days later, I took the monorail to the Sahara Hotel to ride SPEED at the NASCAR Cafe. I rode it a couple of times that day. It is a good shuttle coaster with a loop coming out of a tunnel, going through the Sahara sign, and going up a 90 degree tower to go backwards through all that again. The following day, we went to Circus Circus where I rode Canyon Blaster 3 time. 3 times was enough, I was starting to get sick. It is a great corkscrew coaster with 2 loops, 2 corkscrews, and two helixes going through a fake mountain. Lastly, I finally got back out to Primm to ride Desperado, and let me tell you, I am glad I got out there. I loved it. Tallest coaster I have ever rode. *These are not my pics. I posted them to show the rides*

Nice, I hope to get out to Vegas someday, they've got a good collection. I think Manhattan Express (or now, "The Rollercoaster") was good because it just got new trains. Before I heard it was pretty rough.
Thanks for posting.

I'm glad to see you got to ride Desperado! Question, how much did it cost to ride? Just curious, if I'm ever out there for some reason I think I'll need to stop by!

Desperado was around $7.00 to ride, which is cheap for the area.

^That's not too bad...I don't even want to know what Manhattan Express costed! Everything is over priced in Las Vegas. Maybe I'll ride it if I ever get out to the Grand Canyon some day.

Doesn't "Rollercoaster" cost like, $15 to ride?
The Vegas coasters look amazing, thanks for posting!
