What can I say, I had a blast!
Sorry, No Photo TR. I had my camera but forgot to use it lol
We left DuBois PA at 5:30 and arrived at Cedar Point at 9:40 just in time for opening. We were very close to the entrance.
Our first group ride was the Blue Streak. Its a good warm-up.
No line at all, just inside the station. Front seat.
Our next ride was Corkscrew. good warm-up. Not that bad of ride.
No line, just inside station. Last seat.
We then me up for our behind the scenes tour. I can't go into detail on this due to some......um....it lasted about 45 min and got to see Mantis train 3 torn apart and got to walk around the infield of Dragster.
My next ride was the one everyone wanted to ride. Dragster!
35 min wait. Second car, back row. It made my top ten, but just bailry
Next was the ride with the longest wait in the park. Millennium Force.
wait was about 50 min because I chose to ride front seat and it was worth it. My #2 Coaster of all time. PR is still #1 to me!
Going from my fav. ride I went to one that is a "family ride" Iron Dragon.
No wait at all train half empty. I think Lill Phantom gives a better ride!
Next I went to the most intense ride at the park MANTIS
10 min wait, second car. My legs were in pain when I got off. Still the most intense ride at the park.
I then took a nice little walk down Frontier Trail to Mean Streak
No line, just in the station. front of second car. I still have a head ake today! Evil or Very Mad
Next up was Gemini. I give a good ride still, but it would have been better if they were running both sides. Front seat,
After Gemini, I got a corndog and a large Due
Next up was Magnum. I still love it, but the trims were on Crying or Very sad
Line was just inside the station, Front car, last row
Next up was the "best" ride in the park (note sarcasm) Disaster Transport. I am not going to comment on it.
then We went to Wicked Twister. To me, still the best launched coaster ever.
No Line at all.
Then We went to maXair. waited one cycle. I WANT one of these!
The next ride I walked over to was Raptor. "Raptor is currently down" WTF isn't Raptor the most reliable ride at CP? It was down about 5 min though and we were on the first train when it reopened.
Then I went to get on Dragster for a second time as a large group and Dragster went down for the nigh, so we made Power Tower our last ride.
Walk on. Blue side....Pittfall is better!
We left at 7:15 p.m.
Total cost of the trip..........................................FREE. We all got our $10 deposit back to spend at the park.
What a great day
