My class arrived about 10:15 in the Hersheypark Parking Lot and had to go to the museum first. Educational trip you know That lasted about 15 minuets and then it was time to ride.
The first ride I went to was the one that has been built up by a particular person on this site, and let me say, Storm Runner was AMAZING! It was only running one train though and I had to wait 35 minuets. I rode in the last row side closest to the cameras.
I'm in the flag shirt in case you can't pick me out by now.
Next was Sidewinder. Not that bad of a ride but not worth the headache when I got off. I had a short line and I rode in the last row.
Next we ate at the Texas BBQ place under Storm Runner. The ribs were great.
Then we had to check in and went to the Rapids. about a 10 minuet ride and we got soaked.
After the rapids we went to Wildcat which was a walkon. Rode front row. love the new trains. Good ride.
After wildcat it was time for the Whip. I have a "thing" for Whips, but as far as this one goes, it was week. Kennywood's as ALOT better. Hershey's was two short and the fiberglass cars are two light to get that Whip effect
It was then time for one of my fav wooden coasters. Lighting Racer. I love racing coasters!. I rode Lightning in the front row and it only had a 5 min wait.
After Lightning my group went to Great Bear. I just can's say enough good things about B&Ms and Great Bear was no exception. 15 min wait and we rode front row.
Then we rerode it in the fifth row.
Then I rode Super Duper Looper. Ok, Tight fit in the train. My knees were agents the pad and I'm only 6'1". I gave some nice air, but my head got slammed going into the breaks.
The last ride of the day was Comet. 10 min line but we got stuck on the lift for about 10 min. gives some nice air.
After Comet, I went to Chocolate World and rode the Chocolate making ride.
We had to be to the bus by 6 and I made it back at 5:59
Good day and the ticket and transportation were free!
