I got to Dorney Park at around 9:00. We woke up at 5:00 and left at 6:30 but we got stuck in a little traffic around 7:00 - 7:30 in Philly. First, we ate breakfast at the McDonald's across the street. There was a great view of the park! We finished eating at around 9:25 and got in the car to cross the street and go to the park. We got in the parking lot and parked very close to the first row of cars closest to the entrance. When we got to the entrance, we had to go to Guest Services to get our tickets for Coaster Madness, since Jay was the only actual ACE member there. We got these passes for Coaster Madness and a coupon for a Buy One Get One Free Screamin' Swing ticket. We then got into the park, and it felt like we were the only ones there since we got there pretty close to the end of the morning ERT.
We headed towards Talon, but we were surprised to find that ERT was still going on in the west section of the park, so we left and decided that we would go on later instead of waiting for it to open, missing ERT, and being the first ones on the ride for the day.
We then started walking toward Steel Force, and it was a long walk, especially going down the hillside. It was a lot of exercise. It was already starting to get hot. On the way to Steel Force, was Thunderhawk, and the station was almost completely empty, because of the ERT. We walked right on the ride, and I got second row with Chloe.
Thunderhawk: Thunderhawk was my 50th credit. I liked the beginning, where you turned to start up the lift hill. The lift hill wasn't really slow, but it wasn't fast either. The first drop was pretty fun, and then you got a tiny bit of air on the little hills after the drop. Then we went upwards, and around the turnaround. I liked the drop after that because of the headchopper. Up we go again, around another turning drop, where you got some airtime because it was a double down. Upwards again, around a turn, and then a small drop, into a few tiny hills with some air. It was trimmed horribly here, and it felt like running into a trashcan or something as Jay put it. Then onto the brake run and back into the station. Lauren and Steph wanted to go back on, but Jay and I found it too rough with too many trims. Rating: 6.5/10
We then walked to Steel Force, and I liked trying to find anything in this park without a map. But, we used signs to direct us, since the paths were a little confusing. Once we got to Steel Force, we got second row, and it was a walk on, but morning ERT was close to ending. I got second row with Jay. I was pretty excited for my first Morgan.
Steel Force: We started up the lift hill which was slow. It gave a nice view of the park and Allentown and you had a lot of freedom with the restraints because they don't go down very far. Then, we got to the top of the lift hill. We slowly started going down, and then the speed picked up. The drop gave a little airtime, and the tunnel at the bottom of the drop was fun especially with the speed. Then we went up the second hill, and it gave minimal floater air. The helix after that was really fun, and intense. Almost as good as Nitro's helix. It was the best part of the ride. Next was the MCBR, which didn't take off too much speed. The airtime hills after were fun, especially since they were so small. They gave pretty good air, but not as much as I though they would. We then turned into the brake run, and went back into the station. I knew ERT was coming to an end, because people started to enter the station without Coaster Madness passes. It was a good ride, just not what I expected. Definitely a let down for my first Morgan hyper. Rating: 7/10
After that, we walked towards Laser, and it was testing. We went to the bathroom and then waited. Within ten minutes, we were on the ride. I didn't like how the station was set up. You couldn't choose your row, and you had to hold your stuff while on the ride. I got front row the third time I went on. Chloe and I went on three times, Steph and Lauren went on twice, and Jay went on once.
Laser: We started up the lift hill, which was boring and slow. I was excited for my first Schwarzkopf which was very intense. The train creeped over the top of the lift hill, and started going down the drop. It was fast and fun. The double loop was after that, which was really fun and intense. The first time I went on Laser, I had my hands up, which wasn't a good idea for this next part. There was an amazing banked turn after the double loop, and since I had my hands up I flew to the side and almost hit the empty seat next to me. The rest of the ride was fun, intense, and gave a little air. Front row was fun, but it didn't really make a difference in my opinion. It was a great ride. Rating: 7.5/10
We then started walking up the big hill that Dorney was built on. We then decided to do Dominator, as it was on the way, and it was a walk on for the red tower.
Dominator (Upward Launched Tower): We walked on the ride, and it was Jay, Chloe, Lauren, and I. The launch took you by surprise, especially after waiting for it. On the way down, it gave some great airtime. It was a great ride, and the second launch was almost as great as the first. Rating: 7.5/10
We then got on again, except this time we did the green tower. We waited for the ride to go twice. It had a short wait since it was still so close to opening. The same four people went on again.
Dominator (Downward Launched Tower): We started going up, but not slowly. Once we got to the top, we waited and looked at the view. This was when you realized how high you actually were, unlike on the red tower. The launched drop took you by surprise, even more than the red tower's launch. It was amazing, and gave nice airtime. My Coaster Madness pass flew off of my neck, but the restraint caught it, lucky me. It was a great ride, no wonder it has a longer wait then the red tower. Rating: 8/10
After Dominator, we walked up towards Sea Dragon, and it was a walk on. We decided to go on since we were already there and the wait was so short. I've been on many rides like this, but this one was one of the best. It was Chloe, Lauren, and I. We wanted back row, but we would've had to wait, so we got third row.
Sea Dragon: It started out slow, and then picked up some speed. It gave some nice airtime, and the drops were pretty fun. Going backwards was the best part. It went pretty high, too. It was a great flat, although it was just as much fun as Buccaneer at Great Adventure. Rating: 7/10
After Sea Dragon, we walked towards Hydra. It wasn't that long of a wait, the line was at the bottom of the stairs. I loved the station and the color scheme of the station and the ride. We waited two trains once we got to the station. I got 7th or 6th row.
Hydra: As we headed out of the station, I was really excited for the Jo-Jo Roll. It was so much fun, and gave a lot of hangtime. It was the best element on the ride. Then we headed up the lift, which was pretty small, and kind of fast. The drop was fun, but I wished there was more speed on the ride and that it was taller. The Inclined Dive Loop was cool. The Zero-G roll was fun, but the "Corkscrew" after it felt a little repetitive. The Cobra Roll was sort of unique, and fast. After that came the S-Bend, which would've been more fun if taken at higher speeds. Then came a small airtime hill, which again, would've been more fun and would've given more airtime if taken at higher speeds. The Corkscrew after that was fun, and the ending helix was great. I think it could've been better, but it was fun for how small it was. And it was a bit rough for only being two years old and a B&M at that. Rating: 7/10
After Hydra, we went to lunch in the Food Fest Grove, which was free because it was an ACE event. I had fried chicken, chips, and Sierra Mist, and it was pretty good for being free. Towards the end of lunch, there was a raffle. I really wanted to win something. My Mom was like, "Don't worry, you'll win something eventually," and right when she finished saying that, the guy called my number. That was a little creepy, haha. I got a Steel Force picture frame (too bad I didn't buy the ORP), a Steel Force light-up pin, and a Steel Force key chain. I was happy with my souvenir.
After lunch, Josh called and said he was 15 minutes away. We headed towards Musik Express, which I skipped to go on Apollo. When Steph and Lauren got off Musik Express, they wanted to go on Apollo, so Chloe and I went on again.
Apollo: It was a good ride, and we walked on for both of our rides on it. I liked the rotation on the ride, and each car being shot up and down while spinning. It was a fast flat. The only part I didn't like about the ride was the stress it put on your neck...other than that, it was a great ride! Rating: 7/10
After that, we went into The Edge Gift Shop, but I didn't buy anything. Then we went into the Carousel Gifts and Souvenir Shop, and again, I didn't buy anything.
After Apollo, we headed towards Talon. We decided to wait, since the line wasn't that long. I loved how the queue interacts with the ride and its supports. The music in the queue and throughout the park was great. The line moved very quickly, and we got on second row. I rode with Chloe and Jay.
Talon: This was the best ride of the day and it is my new #4 coaster. It definitely beats out Batman: The Ride. The lift was pretty fast, and then we got to the drop. The drop was fun, intense, and fast, as was the Vertical Loop and Zero-G Roll. The trench before the Immelman was a nice footchopper which you found a lot on this ride. The Immelman was intense and was definitely my favorite part of the ride. After that, the ride gave some nice airtime and banked turns. The Corkscrew was fun and intense, and the extremely banked turn after that was one of the highlights of the ride especially taken at such high speeds. It was a great ride for being so compact. I think it was the best ride in the entire park. The layout was great, the speed never let up, and it was really intense. Rating: 9/10
I will be writing shorter reviews for the water park.
After Talon, Josh and Emmy met up with us, and then went on Talon, but we met up with him later in the day. Then, we went to the car so I could change into my bathing suit. I forgot to bring flip-flops, so I walked around with bare feet once we put our shoes and other stuff in our locker that we got in Wildwater Kingdom. The ground was hot, but it didn't really bother me. We went to the Wave Pool in the back of the water park, but it was closed, so we walked towards Island Water Works. Josh met up with us again here, but Emmy did not. It was an awesome play structure, and definitely one of the better things to do in the water park. It was a great way to get wet quickly, which was what we wanted to do. Rating: 8/10
After that, we walked under this water fall thing, which was cold and refreshing. Then we went on Jumpin' Jack Splash, and I got the light blue slide. It was the fastest, and in my opinion the better slide after what I heard from the others. I loved how dark it was in the tunnel, and I had no idea where I was going. When I got to the bottom of the slide, I hit the water which took me by surprise. I didn't know when it was going to be over! It was a great ride. Rating: 7/10
We then went towards Speed Slides, which had a small line. I raced Jay, and I got the left slide. I think Jay won. It was great, fast, and fun. Rating: 7/10
After Speed Slides, we went on Riptide Run, which had a small wait, and the line moved really fast. Riptide Run was pretty fun, except getting stuck at the big pool close to the end, which was crowded. I got down quickly though, and got off the ride. Rating: 6.5/10
After Riptide Run, we went on Aquablast without Josh. I rode with my Mom, Chloe, and Jay. It had a somewhat short wait. It was fun, but I didn't get very wet. It was pretty intense, with the turns and everything. I wish it had tunnels though, they can really change a slide like this. It was a good ride. Rating: 7/10
When we got off of Aqua Splash, we met up with Josh and Emmy, and went back into the amusement park after getting our stuff out of the locker. We all jumped in Wildwater Cove quickly, as we missed out on the other wave pool. Then we headed out of Wildwater Kingdom. We checked out the line for Talon because we all wanted to go on again, but we decided not to wait. Jay, Chloe, Steph, Josh, and I instead went on Wild Mouse, although Jay and I just went on for the credit.
Wild Mouse: It was a good ride, and it had a quick lift. It hauled through the turns at the top, and that was intense. There were trims before the drop. The drop was fun, but the turns and airtime hills after that weren't. The airtime hills gave no airtime at all, and the turns weren't as good as the turns in the beginning. The brake run sucked, and took off a lot more speed than needed. It was an OK ride. Rating: 6/10
I thought Wild Mouse would've been our last ride of the night, but it wasn't. Jay, Chloe, and I then went on White Water Landing, which had a quick, short wait.
White Water Landing: The lift was sort of fast. The turn at the top in the building was cool, and gave some anticipation for the drop. The drop was fun after going around that long turn, and it was fast. At the bottom of the drop, you get SOAKED. My jaw dropped because of how wet I was. After getting off, we ran to the bridge, and waited for the boat to come down. I saw the huge wave coming and closed my eyes. I didn't get very wet, so we waited for the next boat's splash. I was directly over the ride this time. The splash really got me, and I was soaked. It was amazing. White Water Landing is a great ride. Rating: 8/10
After White Water Landing, I was too wet to go on Screamin' Swing, but I wasn't too disappointed, since I knew I would get another chance to ride one at Morey's Piers next week, and at plenty of other parks. We were soaked, tired, and we felt that we had done pretty much everything at the park that we really wanted to do besides Revolution and Enterprise, which I forgot about. But again, I'll be able to ride them at other parks someday. When we got to the car, we were soaked, so we dried off with our towels that we had in the car. Then, we made the 2 hour drive home, which felt a lot shorter.
Notes:

-Layout of both the amusement park and water park felt unplanned and unorganized.
-Rides weren't amazing, but were still fun.
