I just noticed something:
If you watch the POV video on the CP website (maverick.cedarpoint.com), you'll notice that White Water Landing is still there. When you're going over the hill after the launch, pause it, and WWL is right there on the other side of the bridge.
Weird, eh?

Just to let everyone know yesterday Cedar Point added some new photos of Maverick here: maverick.cedarpoint.com/latest/gallery/It looks like there is a lot of room left in the construction site so I think that we are going to be seeing quite a bit of theming on this thing.

What trains are you guys liking? I like the Gunmetal one. It looks so sleek.

^I love them all! They are probably the coolest trains Ive ever seen on a coaster. I dont understand why they need so many though, I bet they stack. However, I do fancy the copper and gunmetal ones.

I think they need 6 because they are so small. Only three cars per train, it makes a total of only 12 riders per train. So, they need more trains for capacity reasons.

^But it will not raise capacity to have trains stacking, in fact, it will lower it. The amount of trains depends on the amount of blocks a coaster has, so even if they dont hold many people, a coaster can only have so many trains.
-Justin "Mavvie will probably have a double station" Seabaugh
PS- the reason MF has 3 trains is because it has a double station. Otherwise, because it has no MCBR, it could only have [or need] two.

I was thinking this:
One in station One in pre-lift Two on course One in brake run One on transfer track

Well, if you have one on the transfer track, then you dont need them all do you? Also, if one is on the brake run, then thats stacking my friend. Also, if one is in the pre-lift, I dont really know how two can be on the course safely. Im not trying to be mean, but I really dont think six trains on a coaster of Mavvie's size is plausible. The best I can think of is:
-One in loading station -One going up lift -One preparing to launch in synchronization with one on lift (see the videos) -One in exit station -One on transfer track (for maitenance purposes)
You see, I still cant fit all six!

What about:
-One in loading station -One going up lift -One preparing to launch (in sync with lift) -One on final brakes -One in exit station
Hmmm...that gives 5 on the track...I guess the sixthcould just be there as a stand-in, or maye they'll change it with theweek or something? I dunno, but hopefully they'll run with full capacity (and no stacking)!
