Hey, at least they only pull through the front car! It'd be kinda tough (AKA impossible) to pull the whole train through! Lol!

So why exactly do they have to pull the trains through the ride with a crane?

It's a lot easier for them to use a crane to pull it up a large hill than pull it up bu hand. But I'm sure it can be done by hand if they really wanted to...especially since they only use the front car. If they got enough workers I'm sure they could do it.

So why exactly do they have to pull the trains through the ride with a crane? Because Im sure it'd be hard to slowly move an extremely heavy train down a 95 degree drop without one. Let alone then having to push the train back up hills.

Unless you show me an article, Im not going to believe that that was done after MF opened. If it didnt pass the test, then they would fix it right away, not wait for someone to get smacked in the arm by a support.. My guess is they altered that before it ever even opened. Same with this coaster:

^ I cant find an article, but I have found pictures of it. In this picture, you can see where the support has been altered...if you look at the overbanked support on the far laft side of the ovebank. In this picture, taken in 2000. You can see that the support has not yet been altered. I'll try to get some better pictures...but thats the proof I have for now.

Here is a perfect pic: You can clearly see that the support is different.

^ I was trying to show that it wasnt changed until later. In the first picture I posted you can see where it has been altered. In the second one, taken in 2000, you can see that it has not yet been altered.

I wonder how they found out it needed to be altered....

^Yeah really. Did somebody get hurt and they covered it up or something?
What if they have to just totally change one of Maverick's supports? And it took two extra months of construction to do it? I bet some fanboys would cry. I doubt if this would happen though. Intamin's better than that.

^ I heard that people were hurt from Millennium Force, though it was minor injuries like bruises., thats why it was altered. But I dont see how it passed the pull through test...
And I heard that Maverick, like all coasters, had a few misfittings, but none of them were bad so they were able to be altered on the construction area, I guess. Dont quote me on either of those, as I havent heard them from an "official" source, but a reliable source.

Yeah, I mean how fast is it going when it goes through the banked turn? If it was going fast enough it could do more than some bruises.
