Woah, how'd they get them? They must've gotten the pics before the webcams shut down (Tony&Tyler admit that the webcams were shut down due to the pull-through on the OnPoint! blog).
I can't wait to see this thing actually in action...

Cool, I've never heard of a pull-through before.

That makes me sad that they shut the webcams down. I really wanted to see the process....
But I guess it does make sense to chut them down. If the train were to get stuck somwhere but a support or something, they would have some bad publicity and would be kind of embarassing.

^^Expedition Everest, Black Mamba, and most other coasters with heavy scenery or tight clearances gets a pullthrough. Maverick has extremely tight passovers and has the small tunnel clearance. It doesn't surprise me that it's getting one.

^I don't think so. I don't ever remember Tatsu getting a pull through, and I payed attention to the construction from start to finish.

^I don't think so. I don't ever remember Tatsu getting a pull through, and I payed attention to the construction from start to finish. Maybe its an Intamin required thing. I know for sure that MF and KK got pull-throughs, but I guess I've never heard of a B&M getting one.

Maybe it is an intamin requirement. Who knows. Sounds like Maverick will have some headchoppers.

Really? I would have figured that especially on some B&M's with tight, compact layouts, that it would be a requirement to have a pull through...It dosnt seem safe to start testing a coaster without one, or adding people with arms sticking out...

I'm really confused, how does a pull-through work? (Is it done by a crane?)
Thanks.

^ I believe that most of it is done by crane. I assume that on some coasters, ie. Mean Streak, where some parts are inaccessable that they just pull the train through the parts by hand. Thats just my guess though.

^ Yeah I know that...Mavericks' layout is pretty accessible for a crane. I'm saying if they were to do a pull through for Mean Streak, they could possibly do parts of the pull through by hand because all of the wooden supports would get in the way.
