So we all know that Valleyfair will be getting a new coaster for 2007, and we also know that it is most likely a GCI woody. Well, screamscape has taken notice on something that I believe to be very reputable.
What Screamscape has to say about Dorney Park:
What Screamscape has to say about WOF:
Take note that all three parks as of right now only have ONE wooden coaster. Also notice that Wild Thing was built in 1996 as the FIRST morgan hyper at VALLEYFAIR. Then, in 1997, morgans SECOND hyper was built at DORNEY. Then, morgans THIRD hyper was built at WOF in 1998. All three rides were similar, and they were built in a specific order. (Also note that Talon was built at Dorney, then Patriot at WOF but this does not exactly follow the trend.) I think this is a very convincing argument by screamscape and I am ready to believe it. WOF needs a new wooden more than anytihng else, and Im sure Dorney could use one too. So everyone, what are your thoughts on this?

2008 - Wooden Coaster - Rumor - (9/18/06) While we’re still waiting for the evenual confirmation that a GCI Wooden Coaster is going into Valleyfair for 2007, Screamscape sources tell us that plans are already in the works to bring something just as special to Dorney Park the next year.
What Screamscape has to say about WOF:
2009 - New Coaster - Rumor - (9/19/06) It’s a bit of a stretch to start talking about a possible new coaster for the park in 2009, but our latest rumor may have hit on something. We know Cedar Fair likes to install similar rides at many of their parks as we’ve seen them do many times before, and our source claims that if Valleyfair does get a new wooden coaster in 2007 followed by Dorney Park in 2008, then apparently Worlds of Fun is next on the list for 2009.
