UPDATE! Bents, bents, and more bents! Thanks to Negative-G for this update. The bents are constructed in the nearby employee parking lot... ...and then brought over to the construction site for erection. a few bents waiting for the trip into the park. This is where the station will go... not much done yet. On the contrary over here though. Tons of work has been done on this turn since the last update. Even the lift bents are starting to go up. Do work sons. What looks to be the brake run and turn into the station has been put up. Looks pretty high off the ground. Not much more going on over here. It's gonna get close to Log Flume. A fancy close up. The train is in the background. Another fancy close up. And finally, an overview. Once again BIG THANKS to Negative-G for this update.

Construction is coming along quickly, like SpongeBob, but woodies take a lot of work in to them...

The more I look at it. The shorter it seems. It is still an awesome ride.

UPDATE! Finally the large update we have been waiting for! This update courtesy of SixFlagsStLouis.net! and The GCI Interns Website! We have been having some great weather lately. SFStL.netNot much has changed from this angle... SFStL.net...or this one... SFStL.net...but from this angle you can see they have been working on finishing the pull out of the first drop and the turn that passes above it. GCIinternsThe area has several major crossovers. SFStL.netAnd it looks as if the steel support beams will be red to support the EK theme. SFStL.netLots of headchoppers. SFStL.netThis part of the structure is very crucial, and very complicated to construct. SFStL.netA close up of the complicated area. GCIinternsSome less major crossover work is going on elsewhere. SFStL.netThis turn is still cut off. SFStL.netMore work on the station/brakes/lift area. SFStL.netDifferent angle. SFStL.netLooks like the lift is finally starting to get some work. SFStL.netThey are probably waiting to get some more of the work below done before they finish it, though. SFStL.netFirst drop... awesome! SFStL.netYou drop straight into a bunch of headchoppers. SFStL.netAnd look how close you'll get! GCIinternsOverview. SFStL.netA picture of the progress from outside the park. GCIinternsCheck back soon for more updates. Once again this update is courtesy of SixFlagsStLouis.net and The GCI Interns Website!

This is officially the slowest moving construction of any coaster. Ever. I've never seen it move this slow. What's the hold up?
(Don't tell me it's a woodie with a lot of crossovers. Other GCIs have gone up a lot quicker than this.)

^They're probably doing a lot more work than we can see. The station area and other small things that we don't notice could be getting work. Not to mention that it's not even slated to open until July 4th.

If they miss the opening I'll laugh. This is really slow, but hey, its gonna pay off to be a good coaster most likely.
