The ride is COMPLETE! Here is a testing video. And here is a video with a close look at the trains. If you go to the channel of the user who posted the videos he also has a few other short videos of the ride. I have asked off work on the 20th so I will be there for the opening of this ride

I am officially going to SFStL this Tuesday with a friend. I will get many pictures of EK (hopefully testing) and maybe even some video.
That, however, is all I plan on taking pictures of park wise. I will post a nice little C101 exclusive "EK update" on wednesday (hopefully). Is there anything else you will want pictures of that we are missing in the gallery, John?
June 20th for opening of EK for me is still in the works.
Wow this was a boring post. Sorry everyone!

Well Jesus. If you could make slightly more interesting posts, maybe this thread would actually be good.
Kidding. Such a sexy coaster. I want it. Or at least some ROAR trackwork. Either one would do.

All I can say is this coaster better turn out damn good if it took 50000 years to build.

UPDATE! I was at the park on Tuesday and was able to get some nice photos of EK. Unfortunately I managed to break the screen on my camera and it doesn't have a viewfinder so the last half of the pictures were taken blindly. Something new in the skyline of the park! Less than a week to go before trains full of riders are cresting this hill. The ride from afar. Closer in on the drop. The second half of the ride, notice all of the bunny hills. Zooming a bit back out, the log flume will provide great views of the ride. Another close up of the first drop and turn around. Even closer on the turn around. From the ground now (this is now after I broke my camera). First drop. Another view. First turn around. Notice the new route of moon cars. Very niice! Slowly coming around. Transfer track/brake run/station area The other turn around. Thanks for reading, I'll be there on opening day to take some more pictures.

That's beautiful! I wish they would tear down our horrible cyclone for a copy, or a version that will fit in its foot print.

Evel Knievel looks like a great ride! I should be going to SFStL this summer, and hopefully EK will be open.
