I want a coaster.. You got trim brakes last season, that should be able to hold you off for at least one more year! Sounds kinda cool, if not a bit of a copy of Disney.

I hope the sale doesn't go through, I think the original owners need to keep this park.

There is going to be an announcement on Ghostwood Media Day. It may be regarding the state of the sale. Kennywood may be staying owned by the burg.

Which means no inversions on coasters...ever.

^I'd rather have the park be owned by the people who own it now, than worry about inversions.

Meh, the park's really been boring the past couple years. Whoever the owner is/may be has to stop lallygagging and step it up a notch. 7 years has been too long, and things don't look good for the Mon Expressway, so they should stop waiting on that. Besides, if the sale does go through, Parque said they would keep the historical and traditional aspects of Kennywood intact. They seem to run parks very well. If there were mass changes at Kennywood, you know that there would be uprisings, boycotts, etc. from many coaster enthusiasts, local Pittsburghers like you and I, and possibly schools. Changing it would hurt more than help, IMO.

^You need to understand that it has always been a family park. The owner is trying to keep it as traditional as possible by keeping it family friendly. While we all would like a coaster with inversions to go in, we have to respect that the park is keeping it's traditional ways. Kennywood is known for being so family friendly that most of the crowd can ride everything. I personally do not get how you get bored with the park...
I enjoy the park every time I go, it has a very unique and friendly feel and I would like to keep it that way. Instead of like every park in the country that has towering coasters with crazy inversions. The feel is very calm and I think a major coaster would ruin it.
