I know and understand what Kennywood is and what they stand for, I have been going there ever since I was a baby. You don't need to lecture me on it.
It's just the fact that I spend $30+ to endure the same exact experience as I have for the past 5+ years. I think I get bored quickly because of who I go with. I haven't gone with a big group in years. I don't have any siblings. All my cousins are in their late 20s, married and have kids, live in different cities, always working, or to little, and the select few that are around my age either don't care for coasters/parks, live too far away to go and pick up for a day at Kennywood (gas aint cheap), are always working, or I'm not that close to them (relationship-wise) to take them to Kennywood. I usually only go there with one or two other people. Because of that, I'll have everything ridden by only mid-afternoon to early evening...then is when the boredom starts to set in because there is nothing else to do. Going with big groups slows things down and spreads it evenly throughout the day. It used to always be like that, I'd have a blast, and never get bored when I went with like 10 other people.
Don't get me wrong, I don't not enjoy going to Kennywood, I still love going there, hence why I still shelled out $30+ last year (plus God knows what in gas money) during Fall Fantasy (never going during that time again) just to ride it's great coasters and rides.
This year I'm buying my ticket at Giant Eagle, so no more $30+, learned my lesson last year. Plus, I rode Aero 360 for the first time last year and it was so AWESOME! I am pumped to ride it again. I also have never been on a Top Spin, this might be the year I give King Kahuna a try.
In my opinion, Kennywood should have built a Huss Giant Frisbee, like MaXair at Cedar Point and Delerium at Kings Island, instead of a Screaming Swing. They own Screaming Swings and seem to have a better capacity and longer cycles.
