What are your thoughts on it?
For me, I hate the cold, so I hate riding coasters in the cold, (even though I'd right a coaster in any temperature).
Fright Fest 2005 was pretty cold riding Superman, and I think I would have enjoyed it more in the heat.
What about you?

Riding coaster in the cold usually doesn't bother me. I just wear a lot of warm clothes. I can't wait to ride Mystery Mine in December!

I'm pretty much good with the cold. I run in shorts and light Under Armor in like sub 20 degree weather with 40 mph winds (like today) so I don't think riding a coaster would be too bad...

Cold doesnt bother me usually. On one occassion though it was an hour before closing at SFGAm and i was on shockwave during Fright Fest. we were going up the lift hill when near the top it brokedown. We were up there till after closing and then it started snowing. I will always remember that.

^ Welcome to the forums! Viper in the 40's was pretty brutal. But it was worth it!

Thanks. Also was on Raging Bull opening weekend 2 years ago and started up the lift hill and there was a hail storm ( sort of cold related). Talk about pain.

^ Ouch. Riding coaster in the rain is bad enough. I was doing laps on Thunderhead this past summer and it started raining... I never realized how bad it actually hurt, especially if a drop hit your eye.

^Thunderhead? Please. Try Superman (SFA) and Steel Force (Dorney). Superman's rain was just a drizzle, but Steel Force's became a thunderstorm. Ouch.

^ Hey Thunderhead hauls after that 100 foot drop.

I have a feeling Steel Force goes a *little* faster after its 215-foot drop. And Superman's 70-MPH helices aren't too comfy in the rain either.
