Well pretty much each year the Gravity Group builds a new coaster; 2008 is Ravine Flyer 2. The coaster itself is only 80 ft. but has a drop of about 120 feet due to the land formation. It has two bunny hops over a 4 lane highway, one 90 degree banked curve, 6 tunnels, 10 crossovers, and one amazing view of Lake Erie. The Ravine Flyer 2 is located at Waldameer in Erie, PA. The coaster is due to open some time in spring. This thing has serious potential. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

I like how GG is experimenting with different layouts. They're not just doing one type.

I really like everything about it. There are a ton of tunnels and I think the drop is very unique. But my favorite part is probally that small bunny hop that it will fly over. And just a quick fact These are what the trains actully are but they were gonna be.... this

They didn't go with the PTC 2-Seat cars? Damnit!
Boardwalk Bullet should've gone the 2-Seat route. If they work anything like the Millenium Flyers do, they would've made the ride so much smoother for so much longer.

Those trains are supposed to be PTC's equivalent to the MF trains that GCI uses, however, they are not nearly as good for one MAJOR reason: they aren't articulated. The whole point of having one-row cars is to get the articulation, but PTC for some odd reason decided to add two sets of wheels on each car, completely ruining the point.

^Ah. Disregard most of my previous post then. I didn't realize the cars each had two sets of wheels. Dang. Maybe we'll see GCI go more terrain-out-and-back like they did with Renegade (the out-and-back part, at least).
