Can someone explain to me what the point is of them building it at the factory just to dismantle it a few days later? Is there a reason why they can't paint and ship the pieces? I've never heard of a coaster being completely built at the factory like this.

I've never heard of a coaster being completely built at the factory like this. The only thing that I can think of is to make sure it is working properly. But then why can't they just wait to see if it works when it arrives at SFDK. This makes no sense. The wierdest thing is too, it is a freaking model! They have already built it before.

Uhh i hate thoes colors. Why would you make a coaster with such blan boring colors. It makes me a little depressed inside (lol). At least make it bright red or something.

^They're constructing it at the factory, dismantling it, painting it, and shipping it. Point being that they haven't painted it yet.

All coasters are assembled at the factory before being shipped to its new location. Gerstlauer happens to assemble the entire ride layout at once. Other coaster companies connect two sections of track, make sure they fit properly. Then they remove the first track piece, connect the remaining piece with the next inline piece. They continue this process until all sections of track have been checked.
This is to ensure that when the track arrives on-site and is ready to be installed, it will fit properly.

I rode it today! I had totally forgot about it untill I showed up at the park, and there it was! Some "enthusiast" I am, huh.
Really fun ride though, I liked it.
