Busch announced that they're making 4 parks in Dubai! Here are some sample pictures: Reminds me of RCT parks, how the parks are in different countries.

Sounds cool, but I'm probably never going to go to Dubai in my lifetime, so it's not that big of an announcement to me. *shrugs*

^Me either. Probably never will be in Dubai by my lifetime, unless when I'm older and roller coasters are literally my life and I need to go to this park.

WTF? I don't get Dubai. What is it? Where did it come from? I've taken several history courses and the teachers never say anything about Dubai, yet every cool-looking skyscraper is being built there.
You know it's all about the money, so I hope this place makes it in the long run.

^Dubai is basically a city that they built just because they have so much money and wanted to build a tourist trap with TONS of modern awesome things.

^^ Dubai is the fastest growing city in the world. Dubai is in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.). This city has huge buildings including the tallest of the world, The Bruj Dubai, and the world's first building with spinning floors (Yeah, every single floor can spin freeley), the only Palm Isles (Artifisial giant Isles with the shape of a palmtree) and more.
The reason why Dubai is growing so fast is because the U.A.E. is the 3rd richest country in the world and all that money comes from oil, but their oil is going to end in 2012. So they want to make dubai a very touristic city, that's why they are expanding it.
You can see more of Dubai Here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubai

This all sounds amazing! Can't wait to hear more specs on the parks.
I wonder what they'll build to being people to the World Islands...

Thats a tiny space for four parks to be built on. I dont like these palm islands. it seems "unnatural" to me. The islands look like they would be destroyes by a single flood. I guess building islands is the way of the future.
Yeah i will never go to Dudai. Its in such a random place and somewhat in the middle of noware, close to a warzone. Who will remember this when it comes to the time of its opening. Busch must have major marketing concepts up their sleaves.
I think since busch is mainly an american company they should stay within the americas. Hawaii would have been a beter location for "worlds of discovery" IMO.

I would agree with you on the never going to Dubai thing. It's too far away for me to go, and I don't think I would feel safe going to the Middle East anytime soon. And I don't think that this park will be anything special; I think Busch's major hook is the fact that it is in Dubai.
