Arizona's getting ready for this Rockin' Theme park! DECADES – planned to open directly between the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas – will be a living monument to rock music and its artists as well as a dream come true for thrill seekers of all ages. The park itself will feature interconnected Lands and Districts that represent each decade of rock music – the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s in its first phase – with interactive thrill rides, live music and other attractions where audience members can step back in time to the sights and sounds of each era. Conseptual overview: The park already passed it's first test and it's almost confirmed right now. The park is estimated to open from 2010-2012. Be sure to check out DECADE's site! www.decadesusa.comMe and Ice will bring you more news from the park!

My Side:
This park really fits Arizona quite nicely. Due to the heat. There is quite a few water rides, I think 5. The MTV sign will obvisously be a sign that this park willbe widely advertised. The theming on each one of the rides looks great. The government has given the land and there are already sponsors for the park, so yes the park is being built. But no they haven't announced it yet.
Stay tuned for updates!

^^Much better. They are not limited to space thus allowing to build lots more rides. The land is cheaper giving them more money for the park, but it will be Hard Rock Park quality.

^^I doubt it'll be better. And you can't even say they didn't copy Hard Rock Park either!

Ehh i get a funny feeling about this park. I feel that it is opening too big. With seven coasters and six water rides, thats a lot for a new park. It all seems to unrealistic, like a park an unskilled RCT3ist would make. And who really goes out to Arazona anyway. It seems only locals would go to the park. I like Hard Rock Park a lot better.

And who really goes out to Arazona anyway. It seems only locals would go to the park. Just to let you know, more than 100,000 persons go to Az from Nogales (Border City) daily. ONLY in Nogales. And that's in an average day. Now imagine: Mexicans+Utha+Nevada+New Mexico+Arizona = A lot.

I've got some family in Arizona. (Route 66 Store in Hackberry - CHECK IT OUT!) There is alot of traffic through that area... maybe it'll be a must-see road-side attraction.
