Hey guys, I was thinking about heading to SFGradv sometime this summer. I will proabably be taking the southwest flight. I wanted to fly in on a Sunday and spend a Monday and Tuesday in the park. When is the best time to go? What month? Which rides should I hit first? Will the flash pass be worth getting since I'm going on a Monday and Tuesday? What are the "not to miss rides" ? Does the park run the coasters at a good capacity? Do they have any kind of 2day pass? I know I'm asking alot but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am not a local to this park, I am answering these questions to the best of my ability based on research I have done, as I am going there for the first time in June. When is the best time to go? What month? I am going the first week in June. I'd say May or June because anything after that (as with every park) is just too crowded. The only problem with going in May and early June is that the park closes VERY early during the week (6:00 pm I believe).Which rides should I hit first? I have heard that Kingda Ka, Eltoro and Superman: Ultimate Flight are the first rides a "first timer" should ride because the waits get pretty substantial as the day goes on.Will the flash pass be worth getting since I'm going on a Monday and Tuesday? I don't think so, but you could always just see how crowded it is when you get there and base your decision on whether to buy one or not on that. What are the "not to miss rides"? El toro, Kingda Ka, Medusa, Nitro, Batman: The Ride, Superman: Ultimate Flight, and possibly Great American Scream Machine (depends on your view of Arrow Loopers).Does the park run the coasters at a good capacity? I am not sure, as I am not a local. I have heard, however, that El Toro is run at an amazing capacity and that the ops do great jobs at dispatching. Do they have any kind of 2day pass? Not that I am aware of. I am going multiple days, so I just bought a season pass.

When is the best time to go? About 30-60 minutes after the park opens. There's big crowds waiting at the gate before the park opens
What month? I went in July and it wasn't bad.
Which rides should I hit first? Kingda Ka, El Toro and Nitro (in that order)
Will the flash pass be worth getting since I'm going on a Monday and Tuesday? Probably not. When you get there, look at the crowds and take it from there.
What are the "not to miss rides" ? Like FeelTheFORCE said, El toro, Kingda Ka, Medusa, Nitro, Batman: The Ride, Superman: Ultimate Flight, and Great American Scream Machine
Does the park run the coasters at a good capacity? Yes.
Do they have any kind of 2 day pass? No.

When is the best time to go? --When it opens. Get there right when it opens and beat the lines to Kingda Ka.
What month? --May. June/July/August it's hot and busy.
Which rides should I hit first? --Kingda Ka --> El Toro --> Nitro --> Medusa --> Batman: The Ride --> Superman: Ultimate Flight --> GASM
Will the flash pass be worth getting since I'm going on a Monday and Tuesday? Probably not, but you can change your mind as the day goes on, as you buy them inside the park.
What are the "not to miss rides" ? Everything listed in my advice on what to hit first.
Does the park run the coasters at a good capacity? Typically, yes. Kingda Ka ran all four trains last time I was there, El Toro ran two, Nitro ran three, Medusa ran three, Superman and Batman ran two each, and GASM ran three. And the load times of El Toro were amazing - it was basically staple 'n' go.
Do they have any kind of 2day pass? Unfortunately, no. Would be nice though.

When is the best time to go? arrive at the gates a half hour before it opens and you should be good to go. What month? I went in may so many years ago.
Which rides should I hit first? Kingda should be your first because that ride has an absurdly long line almost all day long.
Will the flash pass be worth getting since I'm going on a Monday and Tuesday? A flash pass is only really necessary of the lines are unbearable or if you want to ride Ka and Toro without fail. What are the "not to miss rides" ? El Toro, Medusa, Nitro, Kingda Ka Does the park run the coasters at a good capacity? Most of the coasters have decent capacity to my knowledge. Kingda Ka will always have a massive line regardless of its capacity, Toro is great, Nitro and Medusa also have great capacity if they are running at least two trains.
Do they have any kind of 2 day pass? Not to my knowledge.

I was wondering, I see there is a chance of rain Sunday so the flash pass may nit be worth buying. Does anyone know, is there more than 1 booth to buy the flash pass or the flash pass gold? Or is there just the 1 close to the entrance?

^Once you enter the park, if you go around the fountain and straight there's a building where you buy them. We bought ours there almost four hours into our day.

^On my visit, they just closed down (some) rides. GASM stayed open while it was pouring, Kingda Ka (of course) shut down, and so did the other major rides. Once the rain was gone, they opened 'em right back up. They didn't do multiple runs to dry off the trains like some parks (psst...Cedar Point).
