I was just about to post this is the KI rumor coaster for 2009 thread i made. I doubt it will go to SFMM, because the 09' coaster is rumored to be a wooden. I think this could be on it's way to KI, but i don't know!

Hard Rock Park anyone??? They really only have one major attraction so far. Unless it is a dive machine, then it won't fit the height limits of the area.

Hard Rock Park is currently building a new kiidie coaster, i wouldn't expect another coaster there for atleast 2 more years.

^Shouldn't you be screaming "KENNYWOOD EXPANSION!!!" by now? No because we have a stupid height restriction....which pretty much means now big coasters unless it's a B&M Hyper.

I'm confused...a hyper is the tallest B&M there is. How would the others go over while a hyper stays under??
And Kennywood could easily get a dive machine. The height restriction is over the ground-level height, not including that ravine. Phantom uses that ravine to turn its 120-foot high second hill into a 230-foot drop, so why couldn't a dive machine (or any other B&M, including hypers, which are apparently the smallest type there is)?

Kennywood doesn't have a height restriction. If anything would violate that restriction, it would be Pittfall at 251 feet, which it doesn't. What Zack meant was that Kennywood likes to build rides where people 48" tall can ride. You have to be 54" to ride Griffon, 54" to ride Raptor, and 54" to ride Nitro. That's why they re-did Phantom. Inversions automatically up the height limit to be able to ride, removing them allowed shorter people to be able to ride. While I think Kennywood needs a new coaster, preferably a B&M, don't expect it to be anything really big or spectacular. Hell, maybe Kennywood will get an Intamin mini-hyper for their next coaster, or one similar to Maverick.

You really need to read a post carefully before you start debating about it.

^^How 'bout the Schwartzkopfs, Maverick, and Fahrenheit? Especially the Intamins - beyond vertical drops with plenty of inversions (especially in Fahrenheit's case). I don't think Intamin even revised their OTSR restraints for Mavvie, so I'm not sure why the height limit is so low. And you said yourself that Nitro = 54". Tell me Zack, how is that a lower height limit? That's the same as all the loopers. I see contradiction... I admit, by the way, that I didn't read your post carefully enough. But why don't you two work something out before you contradict each other again . (I added the smilie to lighten the mood.)

But why don't you two work something out before you contradict each other again . (I added the smilie to lighten the mood.) I am just telling you what Kennywood said when Phantom was re-done. That was their reason why they did it, so it was more "family friendly." Kennywood is against inversions, becauyse, once again as they, themselves said, not me, because they instantly up the height limit. I'm guess they were aware that it didn't on all types of coasters, but it does on the coasters that people want them to build. They are never going to build a coaster like Laser at Dorney, and Maverick's height limit is 52" and Fahrenheit's is 54," so I don't know where you were going with those. Lastly, I was explaining what Zack was saying because you didn't understend, and I was also, by mentioning Nitro, saying that a Hyper would be out of the question unless Kennywood broke their own "rule," not really contradiction, just correction.

I have a feeling I know what KW's next coaster will be. Can you say Gravity Group Woodie? BTW, what's the record for most woodies at a park?
