Holy crap, this is somewhat out-of-the-blue. That's definitely dive machine track, no doubt about that.
EDIT: Six Flags Great America 2009. I CALLED IT FIRST!

I just thought of something. This could possibly be for the Busch Gardens park in Dubai. Wherever it's going, the park has to have started clearing out, so clues will appear in that aspect. As much as I'd like for it to go to Cedar Point, I don't see it happening, as there hasn't been any construction/clearing going on there other than Planet Snoopy. Another possibility could be Kings Island, but I think a Hyper would fit better there, being that it goes through the woods and all, and Screamscape has practically confirmed it.
Doesn't Busch still have a contract with B&M for Dive Machines? Meaning that it can't go to a CEDAR FAIL (<<<I didn't type "CEDAR FAIL," it's the work of the filter) or Six Flags park until that runs out. It's rumored to run out in 2009, though, which, if this coaster was for 2009, would mean that it could be for any US park if the contract does, in fact, run out. Only time will tell!

Something else to think about. Here are pictures of "Vertical Coaster's" (at Chimelong Paradise) track at that same factory. Notice that they were taken all the way back in 2004, yet the coaster opened in 2008. We may not see these track pieces used for a 2009 coaster in that case, or even a 2010 coaster. These pictures actually give the possibility of it going to Cedar Point more strength! Like I said, though, only time will tell. EDIT: Scratch that. These pictures were not taken on 1/1/2004 in Ohio, the person's camera date must have not been set yet. There would have been snow everywhere and it would have been really cold. They wouldn't have set the track outside to let it rust in the snow. I am not sure exactly when these were taken, but I'll leave them there to prove that it's the same factory. EDIT 2: After looking into it more, I'd estimate these pictures were taken around June 1st, 2007 (give or take a couple days). They were posted on the coaster-net forums on June 7th, 2007, and the person who posted them said that they had been out for about a week, but he/she was on vacation. Plus there is Led Zeppelin track in the background, so that only strengthens the possibility of it being takes early summer 2007. So this coaster could very well be, and probably is for 2009. I don't know who to credit for these pictures, as they were taken so long ago, the original source is unknown. I did not take them, though.

I still think it is for SFMM. The only thing that makes me scepitcal is the fact that it is red. But depending on where it is placed will effect that thought.

Six Flags Great Adventure is definitely another strong possibility. Especially with Old Country closing off for this season.

According to Scappari over at TPR, it's not dive machine track... I believe he's right, too, looking more closely at it. I'm going to change the title of this thread just to be fair.

Maybe this could be KI's Hyper! If it's not, I would like it to go to SFMM!

Here's my argument against that. No possible way it's hyper track unless there is some new hyper train that has like 8 seats in a row. I thought that too, but look at the spine of the track (the box part), it's too big to be that of a traditional B&M. Also, look at Vertical Coaster's (Chimelong Paradise) track, the ties look the same and aren't flat in certain parts. Compare that spine to that of Hydra's, typical B&M track spine. Hydra: Lastly, look at the lift hill on the new track, it has flat ties like that on a Dive Machine. BYM Hyper lift hills don't have flat ties like that.

I think Busch Gardens Dubui is the most reasonable location for it at the moment....SFMM is probably the last place on earth it would go.

HERSHEYPARK '09!!!
I called it.
Either that or a thermometer drop tower. Better not be a Boardwalk expansion.
*EDIT: Now that I think about it, it could be for the SWO coaster. I get that the track is wide, but when Lance (ScreamScape) asked park reps about whether the ride might feature wide trains he replied with "those design aspects have not been worked out yet." Who knows...the only thing that wouldn't fit is that the track is red...*

yeah my bet is on Worlds of Fun 09`.. cause they are survaying a big area of land, and ever since Patriot had a positive effect on the park, they are sticking with big(ish) coasters. Yeah so im shootin for Worlds of Fun. But due to the size of that track.. i have no clue what type it would be... But maybe its a dive machine.. Look at Griffon.. Look at the mystery track... the man lowering the track into place.. the track seems to be the same size next to a person. so maybe dive machine track. WHO KNOWS

After watching this video, I realize that this could be for any park. Clearing doesn't necessarily have to have started already. Clearing for Raptor didn't start until the 1993 season was over, yet it was built and ready to go by May 1994. They cleared out trees, grass, and buildings; poured footers, constructed the track, supports, queue line, a new midway, and electronics; and finally completed testing, all in the short span of 8 months. Raptor is a relatively large invert, too. The only reason they started preparation for Maverick so early was because of two reasons. One, they had to remove a ride to make way for it, and two, they wanted to milk all the publicity and hype out of it that they could, so starting early would definitely reassure that. So this only opens the door to more possibilities, in my opinion. I have also added a new picture I found of the track. It's the last one.
