Seems like a debate is starting to develop in the coaster world: Is the disko coaster really a coaster?
Let's look at some of the facts: - It's powered - Most are only a half-pipe design.
But now PGA is a adding one with a small "bump" in the middle.
So what do you think? Credit or no credit?

I love spinny rides!
My $.02 on this is as follows:
It depends on what you consider a coaster. For example, some people do not consider S:TE @ SFMM to be a coaster, just for the fact that it is not a complete circuit. But then, that would mean that a Shuttle Loop isn't a coaster. But those same enthusiasts consider a shuttle loop to be a credit. In my opinion, it is, I mean, it goes up, down, and uses gravity right? Like a boomerang. Same concept, just not spinning and a few loops. So, if you consider shuttle loops and boomerangs to be coasters, than there is no reason why a Disko isn't a coaster!

Yeah, someone on TPR said a while back "what would the world be like without coasters?!" And I go: "I guess we'd all have to live with Superman: The Escape!

Actually, I get sick when I ride a lot of spiny rides, especially rides that spin and move some at the same time. Survivor doesn't really give you that ''OH crap, why did I go on that?'' feeling in your stomach. It doesn't really spin fast at all, and an average person who gets motion sickness wouldn't really have too much of a problem with Survivor. If they have really bad motion sickness it might be a problem, but it isn't really what it looks like. As for it being a coaster or not, I would call it a flat ride. I don't really have any rules about what is a coaster and what is not, I just use my best judgment. Superman at SFMM is a coaster according to me. I don't count most kiddie coasters as credits, because they don't give the experience that normal coasters give you. Although I do have a few kiddie coasters included in my count

^ So what do you think about it? I'm guessing its not a credit in your eyes?

^No, I was just saying everybody counts a FEW kiddy credits.
But look at this: Halfpipe at SfEG is considered a coaster!
