Size comparison^ So me and Tyler have discussed this and finally agreed. The question was can you compare the Wii to the two others. Heres what we came down too. 1) No you can't compare their offers, but you can compare sales. 2.) The Wii is it's own type of gaming, the PS3 and 360 are battling against each other as being the same type of gaming. 3.)Im a hypocrite 4.)Tyler's a typical Wii fanboy. DISCUSS!

You're such an idiot.
And again, I never said you could compare what they had to offer! I only said that you can compare their sales, which is where the Wii "pwns" the Xbox 360.
And I'm not sure anything ever did compare what they offered...

Yeah, a couple things on G4 tv (Game channel..) compared them all. Which is completely unfair. And the only reason the Wii is beating them both in sales is the price. If they were all the same price the 360 would probably be the first..as goes:
1) Xbox 360 2) Wii (Very close behind) 3) Xbox, Gamecube, PS2 4) Then the "OH so greatful!" PS3..

I think the Wii is cool and all but the 360 is the best. I touched a Wii. It's really small.

I'm not a console fan, so I don't care.

I say you CAN compare. Heres how it goes:
360>PS3>Wii

Yeah, but see, you aren't truly "comparing" as we mean it. You're just "rating" them because you're one of the 360 fanboys (add that to your B&M, brake, and GCI obsession list).
We had a really long *discussion* about it, and what he said is basically the outcome of our *discussion*. I ended with 1 and 3, he ended with 2 and 4.
*More of an argument with some...unmentionable language...lol*
*EDIT: OMG! IS THAT A BLACK WII!?!*

Just because you like something the best, doesn't mean you can compare it. *Cough* Justin I look at like two really expensive cameras used for pictures that you would find in a magazine, and then a little point and shoot camera that a typical person would have to take Myspace pictures. Of course you can't compare them! One is used for every day use, the other two are used professionally. The point and shoot is good because it will fit in a pocket, but the professional cameras would be horrible for "Myspace" cameras, because they are huge. If you hold both types of cameras up to each other, some people would take the point and shoot, and some people would take the professional camera. So no, you can't compare them, they are totally different things.

While I must say that I am somewhat of a Wii fanboy, I still really like the 360. The PS3 is just...it just didn't have a good launch, has only one good game, and there really isn't that much special about it in a gaming sense. I think they made a big mistake by putting Blu-ray in it because it makes it so expensive. Main stream people don't want to pay that much for a game system. That is obviously why stores are having trouble selling them.
For me though, it just doesn't seem like a fair comparisson. They are comparable in some ways, but Nintendo just went on a totally different direction. You can compare graphics and power, but what really matters is how fun it is and that isn't comparable. It isn't comparable simply because fun is all about opinion, not fact.

I refuse to play either the 360 or the PS3. Why? They're no longer video game systems, but multimedia centers. Screw that. I want to play video games. I have my own technology for watching DVD's and managing music, so why should I rely on another crappy Microsoft or Sony product to do that for me?

^Um, because, instead of having a bunch of crap laying on your Tv stand, you have one thing. And you don't HAVE to put music on it or watch DVDs. And yeah they are video game systems. Your wrong about that.

One thing that I really like about the Wii is the fact that it gets you off your couch and actually doing something more than pressing buttons. That's why I really wanted it, because I wasn't really "in the mood" for another sit-on-the-couch-and-strain-your-fingers game

The Wii is cool and all but, the graphics are just...meh. The 360's where it's at. And by "it" I mean cows and awesomeness.
