I just bought a brand new 8.3 megapixel FujiFilm digital camera and I decided Id take some pictures around my house with it to test out what it could do. Part One- The Artsy PhaseI never knew something so normal that I look at every day could look so good in a picture. Creeping around the corner into my backyard. My absolute favorite picture. The camera captures so much detail you can see the delicate spider web winding its way through the branches. This one didn't turn out how I wanted.... oh well. Part Two- Me, Myself, and.... Your mom!?I'm Mr. AngryJustin..... FEED ME! Too bad the flash was on... Where you really expecting any of the pictures to be normal? Part Three- Ice Cold Milk and an Oreo CookieOreo likes when I take her outside. Too bad she has to stay on the deck. (Picture quality is poor on this one because I was using digital zoom.)Prowler. The flash kind of ruined this one, but you couldn't see her face without it. Comfy cat. Part Four- GrubTo round off the evening, my mom made some delicious Dragon Fire Chicken for dinner. Doesn't it look great?! Thanks for reading!

Oreo is so awesome. I love using the feature on cameras to blur the background. Is yours called Macro too?

^Zack, the background is blurred because what you are taking a picture of is far away from the background, and macro mode usually creates a small depth of field. If you want a small depth of field for other things, zooming in also creates a smaller depth of field. If you have a way to control the apeture, set it to a small number, and that too creates a small depth of field.

You look almost exactly like this kid in my school, I know someone who has a cat named Oreo that looks EXACTLY like yours (it has green eyes too!), and awesome shots.

I love using the feature on cameras to blur the background. Is yours called Macro too? Yes, but I didn't use it in any of those pictures.

^I just zoomed all the way out and got really close to the leaves, then it auto-focused on them, making the background blurry.
