I am lookin at a new camera to take to BGE with me in two week, and I was wondering if I should go for Zoom or Megs. I am allowed to spend 250 on it.
I saw this Kodak with x10 optical and is 7megs
Any sugustions would be welcome!

Any Sony Cybershot. Mine takes really clear pictures, and the zoom is awesome. Also my digital zoom isn't crap like the majority of cameras with digital zoom!

Well, I got it, and two 1 GB SD cards.
I'll be sure to post my entire Photo Trip report to VA. Stops include Monticello, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and more.

I ended up with the Kodak Z710. I got a great deal on it. It was originally 300, but I got it, two 1 GB SD cards, and a case for $295. The pics are alot better than my old one though. This new one has x10 optical and x5 digital.

I know you already bought your camera, but zoom is definitely more important than megs. Optical is best, digital doesn't really matter as it's crap. Anything with 4MP or more is going to take clear pictures. The only reason you would need anything more is if you were trying to blow your pictures up. On the zoom, anything over 3X optical is good.
